Beef, its whats for dinner

1 Aug

In an attempt to eat better and save money, we are considering purchasing some grass fed beef in bulk.  There are lots of farms that sell quarters or you can pick the cuts you want.

Has anyone done this in the past, or do it now?  Do you feel like it is a good deal? We would probably need to get a chest freezer to hold the meat, but it seams like you can get a used one on craigslist for fairly cheap.

You can also buy free range chickens!

I sell grass fed angus beef. I have a chart on my site that tells you how much freezer space you need for various amounts of beef.

Give us a visit so you don’t buy more than you need. And thanks from all of us small family ranchers for switching over to grass fed beef!!! Support from families like yours is crucial to supporting the traditions and values of families like mine.
