We celebrated Lydia’s birthday a few days early since my family was in town for Easter. I have to say that I think it was a big success! I was debating in my mind for weeks what to make for her cake. Should I make something really healthy with no sugar, or just make a normal cake? I decided to go the simpler route and just give her the same cake I was making for everyone else. And yes, it was full of sugar. But she didn’t actually eat that much of it, so I figure it was fine. I made a little chocolate cake with pink frosting for Lydia, and everyone else got cupcakes; chocolate, vanilla, and coconut.
Along with cake eating, we also had an easter egg hunt and opened presents. I can’t believe all the wonderful gifts Lydia got. Thanks everyone!!! She is going to be the best dressed toddler on the block this summer and be entertained for hours with all her new toys!
