A great week

21 Mar

It’s been a great last few days. Thanks to some great deals from Groupon and Living Social I was able to get a pedicure and 1 hour facial at the Aveda Institute and an hour long massage in Eagan all for $60!  That would normally cost $150.  Wonderful week of pampering.  At this stage in pregnancy it is nice to do some things that make you feel pretty and relaxed.

We had a very busy but fun weekend.  Friday my friend Candice came over to clean my floors and bathrooms!  Thanks again Candice!  That night our college friends, the Englunds and the Netolickys, came over for dinner.  Afterwards the boys went to sleep outside REI for a Scratch and Dent sale and the girls slept over at our house.  Saturday morning was the SnD sale at REI.  Dustin got Lydia a Skuut bike for 65% off!  The idea behind the bike is to teach kids how to balance so they don’t need training wheels.  We’re excited for her to try it.

After the sale we all went to Wally’s for some roast beef sandwiches and then it was back to our house for nap time.  During nap time I found a couch on craigslist for our living room, so Dustin went to go pick it up.  That night we watched New Moon with the Binkleys…..very good!

Today we went to church and then Dustin went to a gun show and when he got home I went to a jewlery sample sale.  I got some really pretty new stuff for 50% off!  This afternoon we all played outside and I did some light gardening.  We all went for a walk around the neighborhood too.  I’m trying to keep moving to get this baby out.

It was a busy, but very fun weekend!
