My new favorite fabric store

31 Aug

This past weekend we were camping with D’s family near Cannon Falls, MN and we stumbled upon the most amazing fabric store called 4th and Main.  I could have spent hours looking at all the beautiful fabrics! I can’t wait to come up with my next project just so I can back to this fun store!

I love fabric

12 May

I’m really excited about my new ikea shelves in my craft room. Mostly because of what’s on the shelves. Look at all the pretty fabric! I wrapped my fabric around comic book boards to make mini bolts. Before my fabric was in bins in the closet and it was so hard to tell what I really had. This way I can easily see it all. In the photos you can also see my vintage sheet collection on the top shelf. Now I feel like sewing!

Here’s a sneak peak at the tutu dresses I made for the girls for their birthdays. I’m hoping to get some fun pictures of them soon!

What a year. We have been incredibly blessed this year, but we have also been through some challenging times.  Through it all we continue to see God’s hand at work in our lives over and over again, both in the sorrows and the joy.  This year for our Christmas letter we decided to list a few events from each month of 2010.

A successful first craft show

21 Nov

Well, my first craft show was a success! Here is a photo of my table. There over 140 tables at the sale selling everything you can think of. I had so much fun and will be back next year! My biggest sellers were the ruffle scarves. (you can sort of see one of the green ones in the middle of the table.) I sold out before we opened the second day and then started taking orders. Let me know if you’d like one! I sold a little of everything that I brought, so that was nice. It was fun to do a little shopping while I was there too.

Anna’s loft…with photos this time

***Hopefully the pictures work this time!

On November 19 and 20 I will be selling items at my first craft show!  Come check it out, I’d love to see you there!  There will be 100 crafters selling all kinds of goodies.  Look below at pictures of some of the items I’ll be selling.

I am very excited about this little venture.  I’ve been working on lots of prototypes lately trying to decide what items should be produced in multiples.  I know for sure I’ll be selling nursing covers, burp cloths, scarves, pins, chalkboard trays, and headbands.  Here are a few photos.
